No. SilverGinger is quite loud and hooky, with some melody. This is just straight Ginger though. SilverGinger was him and Connie Bloom, but now as Ginger killed that band to reform Wildhearts and do a stint with Brides, and Connie is off being Nasty, SG5 is now defunct. Shame, as they were a heck of a brilliant band. You might like them D. BIG ARENA ROCK for a new era.

I've seen the 'Hearts get a few times over the
years - even with that Rich Rags bloke above you
supporting them once (RR were better; Wildhearts
stormed off after a few songs, if I remember right,
because they kept tripping the electric - 11, 11,
11, and all that).

I prefer Ginger's voice on this acoustic stuff.
Unless it's early Wildhearts, with all the kooky
tempo changes, I tend to turn off after 3 or 4
songs of tra-la-la paint-by-numbers 2-chord pop-
punk bollox.

I will try and make/film (in some capacity) the
July 1st Adelphi gig. (Although I am moving into
my new studio, and also getting my second year
uni results on the same day, so I'm going to be
spoilt for choice on where, why, and with whom
I get rat-arsed with. It's going to be a big
night, nevertheless.)

One of the worst hangovers of my entire life. There was some footy on as I remember so we had a good old quaff prior to the gig. then back to the Holiday Inn across the road where upon Danny and CJ disappeared to deal with some top secret shagging leaving me, Ging, Bam, Frazer Young, Anguse's roadie cus, and Paul, to dispose of the contents of Bams cool box.I remember waking up about 8.am to find Bam fast asleep between the two beds in the room, his head inside the cool box!
